The Tierra Costa Story
We met in the waves and share a deep love for the ocean and nature. We spend every moment of our free time outside, exploring new areas and creating memories and we started Tierra Costa as a way to inspire others to do the same. We also know that travel can help a lot of people when it is done in the right way. Community based tourism that builds meaningful relationships and also directly benefits the people and places visited. This along with an obsession for exploration is our driving force.

Our Founders
Ashley
Canadian born nature lover and yoga teacher who has worked in the tourism industry for over 15 years. During that time I've been able to get behind the scenes in over 80 countries and all 7 continents. Not only an experienced traveler, but I also carry with me a wealth of knowledge about what it takes to create experiences that leave a lasting impression while at the same time, a positive impact. I am forever passionate about sharing the life-changing benefits of connecting to our planet and each other through exploration.
Abraham
Surfer, fisherman and nature lover born and raised in beautiful Costa Rica. I have been working in tourism and hospitality for years and I am passionate about showing travellers the authentic parts of my country. Enabling others to get closer to our natural surroundings as well as the people that make it special. On any given day, you can find me outside, in the ocean, by a river or on a mountain.
